"The other fragility" (2021 - 2023) With this series I try to transmit my vision and my experience about fragility, the vulnerability of life, also about the possibility of damage, distance, the thin line that separates us from finitude to eternity. In some of these photographs, death and love are represented as essential correlatives in which our brief transit through time takes place, the guardian of those two mysteries. Each photograph is tentative, derivations that revolve around the same broken fragment of a window, thus achieving a fossilized appearance, because life is a window to the soul, our fossil of light and time. Fragility and vulnerability compel us, in justice, to provide supportive care, because we can all be hurt for being fragile, and we are left not only hurt, but also marked by scars, victims of our own mortal condition. Photography, as a tool for awareness, changes and transforms everything, like time, and hides carrion in the mask of memory and illuminates the abysses in which light is refined.
